Companion Only Contract

This contract is issued when the buyer does not wish to breed or show the puppy. It stipulates that the dog/bitch will not sire nor produce any offspring with either a mixed breed dog or pure bred Neapolitan Mastiff. The price of a companion puppy is discounted to reflect altering costs ( spay/neuter ). Any pup may be sold as a companion only, but pups who show disqualifying traits will leave on a mandatory spay/neuter contract and the price will reflect the severity of the fault.

COMPANION QUALITY DOGS come from the same litter as our breeding and show prospects and are placed only in good family homes. Spaying or neutering your pet will stop many future problems and will give your pet a longer, happier and healthier life.

ALTERATION AGREEMENT: My purpose for purchasing this purebred dog is for companionship only. Since it was sold as a companion and not for breeding or exhibition in conformation, I agree to have this dog altered (SPAYED NEUTERED) at or between the ages of 6 months and 9 months. No offspring shall be produced or sired from described puppy.

The AKC LIMITED REGISTRATION form will be withheld until the seller receives a statement verifying the alteration from the veterinarian performing the surgery. FAILURE TO HAVE DOG ALTERED WITHIN THE AGREED TIME PERIOD VOIDS ALL GUARANTEES AFTER ONE YEAR OF DATE OF SALE! The AKC REGISTRATION APPLICATION is valid for ONLY ONE YEAR from the date on which it was issued. Most are issued within 2 months of your puppies birth. It will be valid until your pet is approx. 14 months of age. If you are interested in registering your pet, PLEASE have your pet altered at the recommended age. By doing so you will have plenty of time to send me verification of spay/neuter, receive back your blue slip and submit it to the AKC. NO REMINDERS WILL BE SENT OUT SO PLEASE MARK THESE DATES ON YOUR CALENDAR!

Breach of Contract

If any of the above is ignored and the pup/dog is bred then the buyer has entered into breach of contract. Seller will pursue legal actions, all legal proceedings will take place in the state of sale which is Idaho. If seller must travel then all expenses in doing so including but not limited to, loss of wages, travel and hotel fee's, and any other miscellaneous fee's will be asked for in a court of law.
